Photographs and Other Media – In connection with engagements and events I attend as a MSP, I will take, store, and use photos and videos taken during such events for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest as defined by Article 6(1)(e) or for the purpose of a legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f). These will not be circulated without your consent first, which you may withdraw at any time if you wish. They may be shared on the following: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, East Lothian Courier, Edinburgh Evening News, Midlothian View, Colin Beattie MSP Website, Colin Beattie E-Newsletter, and the Colin Beattie Annual Newsletter. Photographs and videos will be digitally stored on Scottish Parliament servers and will be kept indefinitely in the interest of historical archiving.
Storage of your information – Your details will be recorded on our Caseworker system operated by Elected Technologies. Their privacy policy can be found at https://www.electedtechnologies.co.uk/. All email communications will be routed through the Scottish Parliament. Its privacy policy can be found at: http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/Fol/Data_Protection_Policy.pdf. Any printed data will be kept in locked cabinets in the offices of Colin Beattie MSP (164 High Street, Dalkeith EH22 1AY and M3.05, the Scottish Parliament, Holyrood, Edinburgh EH99 1SP) for a maximum of two years to allow us to refer to your case should you need to contact us again.
